About PW Artist

I am a retired advertising creative director, and now an entrepreneur, organic farmer, artist, and fly fisherman. I have been painting and drawing my whole life. I studied Graphic Communications at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, which led to a career in advertising for the next 25 years. I worked for some of the largest agencies in the world, developing print and broadcast work for major brands, most recently Cadillac and Pontiac. In 2008 I chucked it all to become an organic farmer. A year later I started Mirror Lake Organics. Working for myself since 2009 has given me more time to get back to painting. My wife and I have a cabin on the main branch of the Au Sable River in northern Michigan. The beauty of the river and the diversity of wildlife in the area are an inspiration for my work.
